Paul Bernstein, OD, FCOVD

Dr. Paul Bernstein received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1987 from SUNY – State College of Optometry where he taught on a part-time basis for many years. He is licensed in the states of NY and CT.

Dr. Paul works both in the general optometry practice - FVCA and in the developmental/rehabilitation optometry practice, The Bernstein Center for Visual Performance. His general optometry specialties include bifocal contact lens evaluations and fittings, corneal rehabilitation contact lens fittings, and other hard to fit contact lens patients. He also provides low vision evaluations. He is licensed, to the fullest extent of NYS law, in the treatment of ocular disease. Dr. Paul is a Fellow of the College of Vision Developments.
